Today I spent a considerable amount of time playing Tsoro with my cousin Mark. Tsoro is a game played with stones, beans, pennies, etc. and sort of like Mancala. After a long fought battle for about half an hour, I conquered him and proved my worth! You win by getting all the pennies to your side.

Day 12: Zimbabwe art
Yesterday we visited the National Art Gallery in downtown Harare. Unfortunately the main building was closed but we were able to see the outside gallery. Some of the sculptures were quite unusual, as you can see. The last sculpture was for sale in a smaller courtyard, but it was $350 and WAY out of my price range.

Day 11: Elephants
Yesterday we had "Elephant Interaction" with elephants! It was so cool! We got to feed, pet and as an added bonus we also saw zebra who like to hang out near them so the can snag the left over treats that the elephants missed. One of the men there said that the zebras love the treats so much that in the drily season, if you toss a couple into the grass, the next day all the grass will be cut down and the treats will be gone. In pictures eight and nine, yes, the man is being lifted into the air by the elephant! 🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘

Day 10: Victoria Falls
Yesterday we visited Victoria Falls! It was very beautiful and VERY wet. We also went on Friday and didn't take rain coats because we figured it would just be mist like a normal waterfall, but no. It was like you were standing in a shower, pelting you with rain.
